The Primark store project required Hardy Services to provide access to the rear of the property, to enable works to be completed on full height fire escape windows.

The installation involved a straightforward independently tied scaffold providing high level access to the works.

Consideration was needed to the arrangement of the scaffolding at street level to ensure completely unrestricted access to the building fire escape. With the potential for over 1,000 people in the store at any one time, there was no room for compromise in the scaffold construction.

Scaffold erection was duly completed with a scheme engineered to ensure that the construction, including vehicle parking, did not impact on the emergency access.

Additionally, large-depth heavy duty beams were positioned to ensure free passage around the fire escape doors.

The works were carried out for a nationwide Shop fitting Company.
