Access Scaffold; UK Fast Facade Retention Scaffold; Liverpool

Access scaffolding was supplied and erected by Hardy Services to two elevations of the Lancashire County Council County Hall Archive building in Preston to enable a pressure wash clean to be undertaken to the concrete façade.

The structural makeup of the building and the inability to tie the scaffold to the concrete panels at floor height required a design whereby the scaffold was tied via a series of ‘Box ties’ and full length plan bracing to compensate for the over spacing of the ties.

The works were carried out for Stone Edge Restoration Ltd, on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
